I wish my life had a map

(sigh)

Now where do I begin ….

With a dial to the right connection

Giving me directions to a destination that is hard to choose

To tell you the truth, I’m confused

With the waves that have been coming through

I hide my vibe of distrust, selecting justice

Unsure if my moral compass has been compromised

 

I want a life

I want to live it

I can’t stand the feeling so distance

Pretend you were me for a moment

Step into my circle of life

And tell me, what you would choose

If you were looking through

A brass binocular from so far away

What do you say?

 

I would focus all my attention in one direction

The direction my heart tells me to go

I would open my hand

Stick to the plan

And let the compass lead the road

My soul

I would sail away to open sea and learn the ways of

Me

I’d learn my strength and weakness

Face all my demon and seizes them

I’d capture the power of loneliness

In my refection in the vast waters

I’d concur
